We started out a little rocky but Teresa and Karen made things right. You will find this as a “worker” hotel. Contractors and short term workers stay here. The location is good for access to Williamsburg, Norfolk and local attractions. The pool is nice “when it’s open”. Many good restaurants within a 2 mile drive. Some are within walking distance. The employees are friendly and doing their best. Maintenance is a little lax in the hotel and could be greatly improved with proper management. . Would I stay here again? Not sure. There are other Hilton hotels in the area. This location is good, management could make it Great!!!

I'm traveling, coming to visit family, so we decided to stay here. The staff are really nice and the breakfast is good, although my room smelt like pee for DAYS! It was hard to ignore, as the smell was strong and fabreze didnt help much. It was likely due to somebody not wanting to take their dog out, as many corners of my room reeked. The trashcans dont get cleaned much, also adding on to the questionable smell, as i found rotting meat at the bottom of mine. There are also more but minor stuff, like the bathrooms having peeling walls along with being pretty unclean. Overall, the rooms are nice looking. It really depends on luck for whether you'll get a decent room or not. TL;DR: Workers are nice and breakfast is good, but room smelt like pee and bathroom is unclean. The rest of the room was decent.

Last-minute stays are sometimes the best decisions, and this one definitely was! After deciding to visit my aunt while she surprised her parents for Father’s Day weekend, I needed somewhere nearby to stay since I was already working in Virginia and wanted to avoid the commute home. The reviews for this hotel were pretty spot on. The room was clean, the TV entertainment options were great, and as a Hilton Honors member, I loved seeing my name displayed on the TV when I entered the room. Having a full kitchen was an added bonus! Karen at the front desk was wonderful and took great care of me, even after spending quite a bit of time helping another guest get settled into their room. I’ll definitely be returning—hopefully on a day when I’m not working, because the highway construction was not pleasant! I honestly didn’t want to get out of the bed. My only downside was that the pool is outdoors rather than indoors, but overall, I had a great experience and would happily stay here again.
